Engaging With God in Creation.

Some people find it easier to engage with God while out in creation or while moving their bodies. Sometimes, the best prayer happens on a walk through the trees, a run by the water, or a slow moment under the open sky. Movement and creation can be sacred spaces—places where we awaken to God’s presence, hear His voice, and realign our hearts. Try taking your prayer outside. Breathe deep. Notice the beauty around you. Let creation draw you into communion with the Creator.

Preparation

• Find Your Spot – Step outside and go where you feel most at ease—maybe a quiet trail, a city park, or just a slow walk through your neighborhood. Let creation draw you into awareness of God’s presence.

• Set Your Heart – Before you start moving, take a deep breath. Invite the Spirit to lead you. Hold a simple prayer or scripture in your mind as you walk.

• Be Present – Notice the world around you—the wind on your skin, the sound of birds, the steady rhythm of your breath. Let your movement become a prayer, a way of meeting with God in the ordinary.

WORSHIP WALK | Inhale Practice

Begin Practice

Step outside. Slip in your earbuds with a worship playlist, or simply take in the sounds of creation around you. Let your walk become a space of encounter.

Before you go too far, pause—ask God to fill this time with His presence. As you move, let the lyrics of each song shape your heart, lifting your thoughts toward Him. Sing along if you want, or just let the music wash over you.

At some point, let your own words rise. Speak your worship. Pray freely.

Stay open. Notice what catches your attention—a stranger’s kindness, the sway of the trees, a sense of peace in your chest. God is here, moving in the ordinary. Walk with Him.
